At the center of the action are the 14-year-old Thunderman twins, who share the same bathroom, the same school, and the same annoying little siblings. Their only difference? The sister is a super student with a super sunny disposition who super looks forward to being a superhero someday, and her twin brother is a super villain.
The whole idea of a person or group of persons trying to conceal a very important secret is just cliché. We've seen it with Hannah Montana, Henry Danger, and many other shows and films. How many does this storyline have to be used before folks realize that individuals at home want to see some originality? I've tried watching one episode of "The Thundermans," and I couldn't bare to see more. Overall, the show is boring and does not appeal to me. I don't see how children could actually laugh at this. This show is a very good representation for why people (particularly kids of this generations–my generation) are seeking for better alternatives for entertainment.
This show is hilarious because it is the ultimate dysfunctional family that just so happens to have super powers. The kids are perpetual liers, thieves, they disrespect their parents, they treat each other like garbage yet some how manage to do the right thing in the end. It is a great example of how NOT to act which is why I find it so funny. Hilariously funny show…

In "Adventures in Supersitting" when Cherry accidently found out, she had just met Phoebe and didn't know her very well and so she was much more quick to make a decisionto how to react to it. Cherry,an airheaded; impulsive teenage girl, also makes snap decisions without thinking about them, so revealing the truth about the Thundermans wasn't because she didn't know them personally, but just because she is wired to respond quickly without considering the consequences of her actions. By the time "A Hero is Born" came around, Cherry has gotten to know Phoebe personally and they think of each othertheir best friend. Thus, Cherry knows her well enough to know that it has to be kept a secret and is not only much quicker in figuring it out, but thinking it overwellshe can now understand the value of the secret itself. In "Restaurant Crashers, " it seems like it is more for recently learned secrets rather than long-term secrets. Plus, Phoebe, over a long period of time has been reminded of and learned the value and importance of not telling anyone about their powers and thus, has sort of been conditioned not to impulsively reveal the truth. When she tells Cherry in "A Hero is Born," it's not done on an impulsePhoebe seems to have thought long and hard about a point when she would confess the truth to Cherry and confide it to her.
